Road to Hana CD - You Need This!
The Road to Hana is world famous for the natural beauty of its unblemished landscapes and towering waterfalls.
Maui is understandably proud of Heavenly Hana's successful fight against overdevelopment and the destruction of their Hawaiian culture. When you make the trip over to Hana Maui, you'll see why it's referred to as The Land That Time Forgot.
There are a few different guided CD's for Hana, but only one of them delivers the full experience. When using R2H's Experiencing The Road to Hana and Beyond, you're getting an adventure through Hana. You're brought to the Hawaii you've always envisioned existed beyond the hotels and luaus.
With R2H, you're on a journey of romance and adventure along one of the most famous and memorable trips in the World. You're given driving tips, a wonderfully mastered CD guide, and a detailed map showing specific locations to stop. You get it all, but you get it on your own schedule.

TOP SELLING HAWAIIAN CD'S
I love Hawaiian music but there's a fine line between authentic and corny and all of my picks are in my own collection. I love Sean Na'auao (check out "Fish and Poi") and Hapa has some of the finest singing and slack key guitar anywhere. Of course, every Hawaiian vacation needs some IZ and Somewhere Over the Rainbow. You'll want a ukulele after your visit to Maui but resist the temptation to buy a cheap model from the ABC store or an expensive model from a specialty store. Lanikai ukuleles are my favorite because they not only have great tone but aren't super expensive, either. These are not toys but real musical instruments made with quality woods and hardware. Way easier to play than a guitar, even the non-musical novice will be able to pick up a uke and strum like a pro after a bit of practice.
The little ukes are called soprano's but for me they are just too little. I opt for the Concert size as they not only sound better but are way easier to play, and play louder. They also stay in tune better and this Lanikai Koa model is a beauty at an affordable price. Great gift idea as well if you know someone who has been bitten by the Hawaii bug and can't seem to stop saying Aloha and Mahalo even though they've been back on the mainland for months.
Chocolate Covered Macadamia Nuts
We used to schlep these back from Hawaii to give to the neighbor who was watching our dog but now I just order them online and say we brought them back. Way easier and cheaper than the airport gift store! Just don't tell anyone.
Get a box for the office and don't forget to get a couple for yourself for when the snow gets deep outside and your thoughts drift to the islands.
